Statement from Deschutes County District Attorney John Hummel:
Jonathan Chase Adams, 31 years old, died on November 20, 2017 as a result of injuries he sustained when the bike he was riding was involved in a collision with a truck at the corner of NW Wall and NW Portland Avenues in Bend. The driver of the truck that hit Adams fully cooperated in the investigation and was not impaired or using his cellphone at the time of the crash. Deschutes County District Attorney John Hummel expects to soon wrap-up his investigation and at that time will announce his findings and legal conclusions.
