On January 31st at 7:00 PM, 50-year-old Lisa Peaslee was driving a car on Johnson Ranch Road north of Alfalfa. A Deschutes County Sheriff’s Deputy observed Ms. Peaslee driving her car at speeds ranging from 90-100 miles per hour. The Deputy also observed her weaving across the center line on multiple occasions, including into oncoming traffic. The Deputy suspected Ms. Peaslee of driving under the influence of intoxicants, so he turned on his lights and siren to initiate a traffic stop.
