Personal Care Worker Charged with Private Indecency and Criminal Mistreatment

Deschutes County District Attorney John Hummel filed an Information charging Craig Randleman, a 54-year old resident of Bend, with one misdemeanor count of Private Indecency and one felony count of Criminal Mistreatment in the First Degree. Randleman was a personal care worker employed by a local family, and paid for by the State of Oregon, to provide care to their 14-year old child who is a person with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The child’s disabilities result in him having the cognitive functioning of a two-year old and being unable to communicate verbally. To see additional information and full press release, click here.
