DDA Matt Nelson obtained a conviction, after a jury trial, in a difficult Domestic Violence case last week. The victim initially did not report because she was on probation and did not think the police would help her. Her PO noticed the injuries and had her report to law enforcement the next day. Her abuser told investigators that the victim had probably punched herself in the face.
