DA's Office Presents Crisit Intervention Training

February 22, 2014

DDA Brandi Shroyer is my lead attorney assigned to Mental Health Court, the Crisis Intervention Team and Civil Commitments. She brings experience, compassion and a dedication to justice to these assignments. Last week she presented at the Crisis Intervention Training at Bend PD on behalf of the DA's office. I was delighted to hear, but not at all surprised, that she received great evaluations on her presentation from all of the attendees. Addressing the role of mental health issues in the criminal justice system is one of my priorities for the DA's office, as it is for our local law enforcement partners. Congratulations to the Sheriff's Office on their new Behavior Health Specialist at the jail and Bend PD's new C.I.T. (Crisis Intervention Team) Coordinator.
