On July 17, 2020, 59-year-old Redmond resident Dobbs Pressley’s car was adorned with numerous stickers and placards expressing his support of United States President Donald Trump. While gassing up his car at the Redmond Fred Meyer gas station, two young females started yelling at him about their disagreements with his political beliefs. A Fred Meyer employee, 51-year-old Redmond resident Daniel Kaough, then intervened, shoved Pressley, and challenged him to a fight. No further physical contact occurred and Redmond Police Officers responded to the scene and deescalated the situation.
