As of August 2023 - responses to Public Record Requests are currently being completed, on average, in 4-8 weeks (after payment of the estimated cost of response to the request). Responses may take longer depending on the nature and size of the request. DCDA does not have enough staff to respond to Public Records Requests more quickly. In light of DCDA's primary responsibilities, and a high volume of PRR requests, DCDA is currently working toward reduction of PRR response times to the best of our ability. Thank you.

All Submissions will be processed in the order that they are received.

Requests for an individual's criminal record will not be filled, please refer to the Oregon State Police as we do not process those requests.
Requests must contain enough specificity for DCDA to identify the record requested, and estimate the cost. These requirements are intended to facilitate efficient responses and avoid delay. Request for “all records” or “entire file” will be returned for clarification or payment of a search fee.
Each request is subject to a fee, which will reflect actual costs as aligned in ORS 192.324. You will be notified directly if your request is subject to a fee. Requests will not be processed until the fee is paid in full.
Do not use this public records request portal if you have a pending court date due to an arrest/citation or you are the suspect in a criminal investigation. You will receive discovery at or shortly after your first appearance in court. If you want to request discovery in advance of your appearance, email info@dcda.us. If you are represented by an attorney, your attorney will make the request on your behalf. If you are not represented by an attorney, you may request one at the initial court appearance.
