Attempted Murder and Hate Crimes Charged in Redmond Motel Assault

Yesterday, a Deschutes County grand jury returned an Indictment charging attempted murder and hate crimes in the New Year’s Eve assault at the Hub Motel in Redmond. 53-year-old Eugene resident James Lamb was a guest at the motel and broke into the manager’s office and attacked the motel’s 70-year-old owner. The owner suffered broken bones, remains in the hospital, and is expected to survive. To see additional information and full press release, click here.
