Yesterday, a Deschutes County grand jury returned an Indictment charging attempted murder and hate crimes in the New Year’s Eve assault at the Hub Motel in Redmond. 53-year-old Eugene resident James Lamb was a guest at the motel and broke into the manager’s office and attacked the motel’s 70-year-old owner.
