600 Month Sentence for Cisneros
This afternoon defendant William Paul Cisneros was found unanimously guilty by a jury of his peers after a four day trial, of Rape in the First Degree (Class A Felony), four counts of Sodomy in the First Degree (Class A Felony), two counts of Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree (Class A Felony), two counts of Sex Abuse in the First Degree (Class B Felony), and one count of Luring a Minor (Class C Felony). 
The defendant showed no remorse for the rape and molestation of the nine year old victim and offered no apology. Judge Forte sentenced William Cisneros to 600 months prison.  The defendant’s crimes were subject to ORS 137.700 and the provisions known as “Jessica’s Law”.  He will be subject to supervision for the rest of his life.  DDA McIver prosecuted the case with the assistance of Trial Assistant Kadee, victim advocate Debbi Wise, and District Attorney System Analysts Chad Morris and Josh Kilander. DDA McIver offered special thanks to KID’s Center for their excellent work and to Detective Merlin Toney of the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.
